Watercolor and gouache on a small piece of paper, quick painting. This painting of Tatiana was made by a photograph I took while working on a folklore festival. She is the leader of a russina children’s dancing group, a very inspiring woman. It is something very unusual to see here in Israel, very different culturally. She is always with her make up, and always with a smile. Very sensitive and very strong. I worked with Tatiana and her group 2 years in a row, and it was a pleasure.
